Empowering lives through compassionate support
Founded in 2008, Action for Women and Children Concern (AWCC) Somalia is a women-led, non-governmental, non-political, and non-profit organization committed to improving the lives of vulnerable populations affected by poverty, conflict, climate shocks, and humanitarian crises.
With over two decades of field experience, AWCC combines deep community acceptance, local expertise, innovation, and strong partnerships to deliver sustainable humanitarian and development solutions throughout Somalia.
